Jax Willemsen

August 28, 2026

Our sweet boy Jax Willemsen crossed the rainbow bridge Friday, August 28th peacefully in his home, with the sun on his face, getting kisses from his mom until the very end.

Jax was the silliest boy, such a cuddle bug and constantly just wanted to hold hands and get kisses or scritches. If you had the chance to meet him, it was hard not to immediately fall in love. He would never hurt a fly & rarely even defended himself against other dogs. He was a real life angel.

Jax loved anything involving a ball or a stick, or any stuffed animal with a face. He was a big stuffy guy. He loved being outside and just being with his mom and dad. Anything involving our whole family, he was so excited to do.

We went on so many adventures together, countless camping trips & air b n b adventures. And 2 cross Canada road trips, anything where we could all be together.

We found out Jax had lymphoma in July, and unfortunately he lost his battle in only August. It was so sudden and so fast. But we had such a beautiful summer together before we lost him, and we will forever be so grateful for all of the memories.

We will think of him every time we open the peanut butter or see a good stick that he would have liked on a walk.
We will think of him whenever we see his favourite blanket or a new toy that I know he would have loved at the store. We will carry him with us everywhere.
He will be forever missed and cherished and mourned.
Until we meet again my sweet baby boy.
