In Loving Memory of Bear

Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to Bear, our beloved Collie-Shepherd mix, who blessed our lives for 17 incredible years. True to his breeds, Bear was a remarkably smart, loyal, and independent spirit who was the very heart of our home for nearly two decades.

If you ever looked for Bear late at night, you could always find him in the garage. He was the ultimate companion, happily staying up until the early morning hours just to keep us company while we worked or hung out. He didn’t care what we were doing, as long as he was right there by our side.

During the day, he loved sitting on the deck enjoying the sun.

But Bear also had a wild, adventurous side and considered the entire neighborhood his personal kingdom. No matter how secure the yard seemed, Bear always found a way out to go on his "neighborhood rounds," visiting the neighbors to say hello and see what they were up to. His free-spirited adventures even landed him in "doggie jail" that one memorable time—a story that still makes us smile and perfectly sums up his mischievous, lovable personality.

Seventeen years of loyalty, late nights in the garage, and neighborhood escapes leave behind a lifetime of unforgettable memories. Our yard and our garage feel incredibly empty without his presence. He is deeply missed by his human family, and his best friend, Misty the cat, is missing him so much right now.

The joy Bear brought us will stay with us forever. Rest easy, Bear. You are so loved, and you will never be forgotten.
