Boomer

We rescued Boomer from a shelter in 2008 as a stray kitten and he soon became a cherished member of our family. My bond with him truly deepened in 2017 when the kids moved out and it was just the two of us. In many ways, he rescued me as well, helping me through some very challenging times in our 18 years together.

Boomer brought comfort, laughter, companionship and unconditional love into my life every day. He was outgoing and loved everyone he met, he insisted on drinking water from the taps instead of a bowl and never lost his agility to jump up on the kitchen counter in the hopes of finding something more appealing than his own food. I miss him greeting me at the door when I get home, his gentle love bites during our snuggles and his early morning wake up calls. Watching him devour his lickable treat each night before bed was the highlight of my day.

My home feels so much quieter now without him and he will be missed more than words can say.
